Unline some networks, taboola has strict requirements that a publisher must meet if he or she wants to get approval for their website.

Taboola Requirements for Publishers

1. Applicant must be of 18 years of age.
2. You should own and operate your website(s).
3. You website(s) must meet minimum traffic requirement of 500,000 monthly page views. Know more about taboola minimum traffic requirements.
4. Your website must not contain content that is scraped or copied from other website(s).
5. Only content that owned by you or have proper license is allowd.
6. Exclusive partnership with taboola.

Now let me explain the last point in other words. If you choose to use taboola, you cannot use other monetization services.

The official taboola requirements page says, you can use other networks, but only recommeded third party services.
